A Collagen Fuelled Evening

A joyful evening spent celebrating the health benefits of gelatine and the delightfully collagen-rich protein.

An event curated by the incredibly talented Tash Fry Kla and myself in late 2024, in honour of gelatine and the numerous ways it can be used.

We brought together a selection of our favourite collagen-rich treats to highlight the benefits a daily dose of collagen can offer the body — with some freshly popped popcorn on the side for a contrasting crunch

Rose and lemon Turkish delight and mini marshmallows were enjoyed alongside cups of collagen-rich bone broth straight from the slow cooker, perfect for sipping and warming our hands on the chilly autumn evening.

Collagen is a protein made up of multiple amino acids (glycine, proline and hydroxyproline), it’s one of the most abundant proteins in our bodies.

Known for its ability to help repair the gut lining, collagen can be helpful for maintaining a healthy digestive system.

By strengthening the intestinal walls, collagen can support digestion and nutrient absorption.

It is said to play a key role in tissue repair and regeneration throughout the body, promoting healing in joints, skin, and other connective tissues, making it an essential element for overall wellness.
