Fighting off a winter cold there was one smoothie I made on repeat this week ~ the classic lemon, ginger, honey & turmeric mixed with kefir to make an immune boosting golden elixir.
Cup of Sunshine Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 200ml Milk Kefir
- 1 inch piece of ginger (grated)
- 1 banana
- Juice from 1/2 lemon
- 2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp honey
- Dried marigold flowers (optional)
Method:
- Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
- Enjoy and let the heat from the ginger warm you up inside :~)
