Cup of Sunshine

Fighting off a winter cold there was one smoothie I made on repeat this week ~ the classic lemon, ginger, honey & turmeric mixed with kefir to make an immune boosting golden elixir.

Cup of Sunshine Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 200ml Milk Kefir
  • 1 inch piece of ginger (grated)
  • 1 banana
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Dried marigold flowers (optional)

Method:

  1. Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Enjoy and let the heat from the ginger warm you up inside :~)
